Zoi Network

Zoi Network: building payments that work when the internet doesn't

Payments should work wherever people are, not only where there is a signal. Zoi is building an offline-first payment network. One phone passes a payment to a nearby phone over Bluetooth, and phones around them witness it. The moment any phone on the path is back online, the payment settles. Stadiums, metros, festivals, ferries, blackouts, remote towns.

A network like this needs phones everywhere. The Zoi app is how you join it from day one.

WHAT YOU CAN DO TODAY

• Sync every 4 hours: one tap keeps you active in the network and adds ZOI points to your balance.

• Keep your streak: sync once a day and each sync counts for more. A shield every 7 days covers a missed day.

• Bring your friends: each active friend adds to your syncs.

• See your activity: your points, your streak and your friends in one place.

• Follow the build: team updates and in-depth articles on how offline payments work.

WHAT WE ARE BUILDING

• Phone to phone: a payment passes over Bluetooth, with no internet needed.

• Witnesses: nearby phones confirm what they see, so a payment can be trusted offline.

• One spend only: the same payment can never be used twice.

Each part ships in phases, and you can follow every step in the app.

GOOD TO KNOW

• Free to join. No hardware, no deposit, no fees, no in-app purchases.

• Easy on your battery: a sync is one tap and nothing heavy runs in the background.

• One phone, one account.

• The app may show ads between screens.

• Available in 19 languages.

IMPORTANT

ZOI are in-app reward points. They are not money, a cryptocurrency or an investment, and they have no cash value. They cannot be bought, sold, withdrawn, transferred or exchanged. Offline payments are in development and are not available in this version of the app.
