In 2001, Yovie released an album with the flag of Yovie & Nuno titled All Stars. The name of the band Nuno is taken from Latin, Numero Uno, which means number one. This formed band is a form of Yovie's idealism that cannot be optimally processed in Jasmine Trias. [10] On this album, besides with The Nuno, Yovie also collaborated with Andi / rif, Fariz RM, Glenn Fredly, Audy, and one of the Color group personnel. This album seems more 'fierce' than the album with Jasmine Trias. Especially with the support of personnel from The Nuno, Baron who is a former guitarist of Gigi and Rere whose drummer is Grass Rock. Three years later, Yovie & Nuno changed their name to Yovie & The Nuno, and released a new album titled Victory of Love (2004). In this second album, the personnel of The Nuno have changed. Most come from Surabaya. The Nuno personnel for the second album are Ersta, former bassist X-men (bass), Gail (vocals), Diat (guitar), Rere (drums), and Dudi Oris (vocals).

At the end of 2007, Yovie released another album. This time back with the names Yovie & Nuno, as Gail, Ersta and Rere retreat. Yovie also recruits Dikta to accompany Dudi in the vocal position to replace Gail. Marking the appearance of Yovie & Nuno, they launched an album titled The Special One (2007) which was inspired by the fragment of the song "Promise White" by Yovie, popularized by Bening. [12] This formation became the most successful formation to lift the name and popularity of Yovie & Nuno in the Indonesian music scene, especially through the hits of his album, Keeping the Heart which received a platinum award from Sony BMG Music, as well as physical sales reaching 75,000 CDs and 500,000 dial tones.

Continuing success on the album The Special One, Yovie & Nuno Yovie-Diat-Dudi-Dikta formation again released the album Winning Eleven (album) which was released in July 2010. In March 2012, Yovie Widianto was involved in the cultivation of the Negeri 5 Menara sound track album. Yovie & Nuno contributed to the album with two songs, Man Jadda Wajada and Galau. However, in the same year, Yovie & Nuno had again lost their personnel Dudi Oris who decided to leave after 11 years with Yovie & Nuno.
