Triangles

"Triangles" calculates from the given lengths and angles of any triangle the undefined lengths and angles. Just enter three known parameters, including at least one length. the results are displayed numerically and graphically. A list shows how the "law of cosines", the "law of sines" and the angular sum leads to the solution.

Quickstart

Enter the known values of the triangle to be calculated. Angles are expected in degrees. The result is automatically calculated when enough parameters have been entered.

Colors

white : Correct input or valid solution

yellow : missing parameters

red : no solution possible

In the ambiguous case, both solutions are shown.
