The SOS application for the deaf is the official application of the Belgrade City Organization of the Deaf, which was developed in cooperation with the Office for IT and eGovernment, which serves to facilitate communication and daily functioning of deaf and hard of hearing people.

The application allows the user to make a video call and correspond with an interpreter of Serbian sign language, who translates the user in parallel, that is, talks by phone with the requested person or institution. The user also has the possibility to schedule an appointment for the services of a Serbian sign language interpreter, create a list of his most frequently called contacts, as well as view an overview of communication with the interpreter.

In order for the user to use the application smoothly, it is necessary to register by entering his mobile phone number. After registration, the user accesses the application each time without logging in on the same device. In case of login on another device or web application, no registration is required, only login via mobile phone number.
