The flora of the Alps fascinates with its diversity in terms of colors, survival strategies, use as medicinal herbs and occurrence in the legendary world of the Alps. Over 500 species have been scientifically described in detail (wikipediatexte) and illustrated, whereby not only the botanical properties, but also the importance of plants for humans, be it in medicine or in customs, are discussed.

The app also works offline and allows each plant to add their own observations in word, image and video. The search can be carried out using the most common German names or the Latin names. The plants are structured according to flower colors so that a quick determination in the field is possible.
