AppCycle Pro

Allows for cycling applications from the foreground to the background.

AppCycle is an Android application that allows for cycling of apps to the foreground/background. The user can open an app selection screen, select which apps to cycle, specify the foreground/background timeout periods and allows for dimming of screen while running, which helps lower the amount of battery use.

Please note that while AppCycle is running, the foreground app will change at the specified interval. This may make some apps hard to use, as they may disappear when you are using them. If you need to quickly use an app, you can pause AppCycle from the notification screen.

AppCycle also has a basic mode which lists pre-configured settings, where it's just a simple push and play. Currently it's just configured to work on Clash of Clans. I think it can work on other apps, but I have not done much testing. Please note that for Clash of Clans, after about 5 or 6 hours of constant play, the game locks you out saying something like your villagers need a rest. My app can't prevent this, so you would get attacked during this interval. After about 10 minutes this lockout seems to go away. I cannot get around this, however AppCycle isn't meant to run for days. My most common use is to use it in between farming when I am waiting for my armies to rebuild. It's perfect for this as it prevents my village from being raided and allows me to save enough gold or elixir to make some decent upgrades.

As general guidance, AppCycle can be used to prevent the inactivity timeout warning to display on certain applications. This has the effect of allowing these applications to run for extended periods of time without exiting due to inactivity. AppCycle has been tested and works on Clash of Clans and Boom Beach.

Please note that this application keeps the device active and keeps the screen on. So, one side effect is that it will use a lot of battery. AppCycle requires no special permissions.

Bottom Line:

- It's not the end all solution or cheat for Clash of Clans

- It can help for preventing base attacks in between farming, or for a max of 5 or 6 consecutive hours

- It may make your device hard to use because at the given interval, the foreground app will switch

- It is battery intensive. The device has to remain active in order for the apps to run. I have not been able to get Clash of Clans to run while the screen is dark.
