Magazines of the Library

The Magazine Library is a temporary free app for everyone who is a member of the Library. With this app you can get acquainted with e-magazines from the Library. You can choose from sixteen magazines with editions from early 2020, covering topics as diverse as travel, fashion, politics, art and psychology.

In the app you can view previews of the magazines, you must log in to read. You do this with your login details for the Library. Then you can choose which magazines you want to read and download them to your reading folder. Once you have finished reading, you can delete editions again. After three weeks, magazines are automatically removed from your reading folder.

In the course of 2021 we will see whether we continue with journals from the Library and we will ask for feedback. Until then: enjoy reading!

What are cookies and how are they used in this app?

Cookies are small files that are placed on the computer, telephone or tablet by browsers. They keep information about visits to websites or apps. This information can be returned on a subsequent visit.

Cookies for analysis

We use Google Analytics for Firebase to measure the use of the app. This has been set up 'privacy-friendly' in accordance with the Manual of the Dutch Data Protection Authority. We process information about the use of the app to understand how people use it. This information helps us improve the app. We have protected the last octet of your IP address (that is the part after the last dot). Sharing data with Google, including for advertising purposes, has been turned off. We have concluded a processor agreement with Google and do not use other Google services in combination with the Analytics cookies. You can disable this analysis by choosing the option "Clear" in the menu and turning off the slider for Usage analysis.
