The right information at any time - without searching!

NS Lab offers you step-by-step travel guidance, but is not a travel planner. How does that work? You plan your trip in the NS app and share it with the NS Lab app. You will then receive useful information and entertainment on the road. You can see how many minutes you have to catch your train, where and when you need to change trains and you get navigation to your platform at a number of large train stations. Even if you have not planned a trip, NS Lab offers you - based on your location - the travel information you need. This way we show you which train you are on and at which stations it will stop.

Entertainment on the move

In addition to step-by-step travel guidance, NS Lab also provides entertainment during your train journey. Meet MindfulNS for a more relaxed journey, listen to one of our podcasts or play the Spoorwijs quiz, exclusively on your train journey between Amsterdam and Eindhoven.

How does it work

To use NS Lab properly, you need the NS app on your mobile, you link a personal OV chip card to the app and you give the app permission to use your location. You also need at least Android 5.0. For some parts of the app we ask you to log in with your My NS account.
