Satguru Ravidass Maharaj Ji appeared on this earth on 15th Magh Sudi, full-moon day of Bikram Samvat 1433 which coincides with, 1377 A.D. at Seer Govardhanpur a sub-urban area of Banaras. He lived for 151 years. He was one of the leading saints of the Bhakti movement who was against the Hindu Caste-System. He was protagonist of equality, human rights and universal brotherhood, liberty, fraternity and worship of one God.He has stressed the need of establishment of Begumpura type of governance in the world. In such a state there will be no discrimination on the ground of caste, colour, sex, faith, country. All will be equal and there will be no worry at all. Every citizen will enjoy human rights-social, political, cultural, spiritual.
