You can use Galaxy Phone as an IoT device with Galaxy Upcycle. 

Use a spare Galaxy device as a light sensor and a sound sensor and create smart routines to take care of your precious family and companion animals.

[Key features]

- Illumination sensor: 7 kinds of brightness can be detected. 

- Sound sensor: 5 sounds can be detected. 

- When a brightness change is detected in the illuminance sensor, the automation function of SmartThings allows users to receive notification on their phones and turn on or off smart lights.

- When the selected sound is detected on the sound sensor, users can receive a notification on their phones, use the two-way audio function, as well as record and check the detected sound.

• Microphone: Used to provide voice control function.

※ Galaxy Upcycle is optimized for Samsung smartphones. Some features may not be available when used with other vendors' smartphones.

※ Some features may not be available in certain countries.

※ After installing this app, the maximum battery charge ratio of your device will be limited to 70% for the stability. Battery can be charged up to 100% after you delete this app and restart your device.

※ This service is available for one year from the date of first use. At the expiration of this one-year period, the device must be re-registered.
