Dhaulagiri Yatayat was established on 21st Ashoj, 2072 as a bus service company to serve the people of Dhaulagiri Zone and Pokhara. Bringing more comfort on bus travel, Dhaulagiri Yatayat started with 30 AC buses under Dhaulagiri Anchal Yatayat (2055). Providing the passengers with every sort of facilities and comfort was the only motto of the company from the very beginning. Now, around 100 vehicles run under Dhaulagiri Yatayat, including AC Bus, Deluxe Bus, Hiace, Tourist Bus and some local vehicles as well.

Pokhara was, is and always will be the best tourist hub in Nepal. Similarly, Parbat, Baglung, Myagdi and Mustang are also the well-known touristic area in Nepal. In order to grow the tourism and to make people aware of the natural and cultural heritages of the area, Dhaulagiri Yatayat have always contributed on the transportation side. Baglung Kalika Mandir, Dhorpatan Hunting Reservation, Pun Hill, Dhaulagiri Mountain Range, Jomsom, Muktinath, Chusang Valley and Ghandruk Village are some of the best Touristic area under Roadway’s service.
