ConserWater helps farmers and irrigators reduce their irrigation water use by 30% with artificial intelligence, in a scalable and cost-effective manner. It uses NASA satellites, weather and a variety of other data along with patent-pending geospatial deep learning to predict irrigation water needs to the precision of physical soil moisture sensors, but without any of the hardware.
ConserWater gives an estimate of watering needs in a variety of units from millimeters to liters per acre.
It is currently only supported for land in the United States, India, Sri Lanka, Mexico, Kenya and Ghana.
It is also currently supported in six languages: English, Spanish, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada.
Special thanks is given to the National Snow and Ice Data Center (NSIDC), OpenWeatherMap.org and the Natural Resources Management and Environment Department of the Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO).
