Calibrated Photo Viewer Demo

Ever wanted to view photos of your loved ones on your phones and tablets but were disappointed with the results?

Many tablets and phones have uncalibrated or poorly calibrated screens which do not reproduce colors correctly. Colors may appear washed-out, over-saturated, too warm (yellow tint), or cold (blue tint), etc...

Calibrated Photo Viewer is a JPEG gallery viewer that shows photos the way they are meant to be seen, using calibrated colors and contrast that match the standard sRGB color space used in most photos.

Comprehensive, fully automated display calibration is performed with the aid of a free companion app "Camera Colorimeter" running on a separate Android device. The companion app uses a back-facing camera for measuring the color output of your tablet or phone. Communication between devices is via Bluetooth.

- Pre-loaded with calibration data for Nexus 6, Samsung Galacy Tab S 10.5, Nexus 5, Nexus 7 2012 & 2013, Nexus 5, Galaxy S4, Nook HD Plus. A color balance adjustment may be necessary to adapt the data to your specific device. Alternatively, you may choose to perform a full Auto calibration operation.

- Pre-loaded with calibration data for the Adobe RGB color space used by professional photographers on Galaxy Tab S 10.5, Galaxy S4, Nexus 6 and Nexus 7 2013.

- Seamless viewing of sRGB and Adobe RGB images without manually switching 'display modes' on Galaxy Tab S 10.5, Galaxy S4, Nexus 6 and Nexus 7 2013. The correct color space is automatically selected based on an image's Exif metadata.

- Over- and under-exposure correction.

Currently only JPEG images are supported.

Please upgrade to the latest version of Camera Colorimeter to use the Auto calibration and Auto color balance features.

This is a demo of Calibrate Photo Viewer in which swiping between photos has been limited to 10 flicks. All other features, including Auto calibration, are fully functional for evaluation purposes.
