This application calculates the resistance of motors, coils, copper and aluminum conductors.
In the OHMS MOTORS window, in addition to calculating the resistance in ohms in star and delta in both copper and aluminum, it calculates the density, the kilos needed for your new winding, capacity of your conductor or conductors in ampere, approximate capacity in horsepower. If you decide to modify the wire gauge or the turns of your motor, you have the slot percentage option in the yellow stripe. When you set the percentage, the bar will simulate according to your opinion how full your slot is. If you modify the conductor(s) or the turns of the coil, the bar will also move the percentage. With this action you will notice if your new coil will fit into the slot or not.
In the OHMS COILS window
The blue numbers above work like a table in which we have.
BOX 1 OHMS/KM
BOX 2 RESISTIVITY.
BOX 3 mm/2.
BOX 4 DIAMETER IN mm.
BOX 5 DIAMETER IN INCHES.
BOX 6 KILOS/KM.
By default, data already appears in A.W.G. 20 and in GRADES 20°. and with the AWG and °C buttons select the conductor and at what degrees you want to calculate
YOU KNOW METERS the meters you want to calculate of a conductor, just select the wire gauge with the plus and minus buttons and select how many DEGREES that wire is.
and the result will appear by clicking on the CALCULATE BUTTON, the same if.
DO YOU KNOW OHM or yes.
YOU KNOW KILOS...
TO CALCULATE IN COPPER or ALUMINUM THERE IS A BAR THAT WHEN DEPLOYED THERE ARE 31 OPTIONS AFTER SELECTING AN OPTION
A HELP MESSAGE WILL APPEAR. WRITE DATA IN THE BOX WHERE IT CORRESPONDS BELOW CLICK ON CALCULATE
OPTION 1 AND 2 COPPER AND ALUMINUM
OPTION 1 You can jump from copper to aluminum by default the A.W.G. wire gauge will always remain in number 20 and degrees in number °C 20°
OPTION 1 COPPER
OPTION 2 ALUMINUM To calculate aluminum conductors with the same options as the copper conductor.
OPTION 3, 4, and 5 ohm's law.
