CAFESSIO

Brew better coffee, one step at a time.

CAFESSIO is a calm, precise brewing companion — a guided timer that tells you what to do, when, and exactly what your scale should read.

A TIMER THAT DOESN'T LIE

Elapsed time is calculated from timestamps, not counted second by second. Lock your phone, take a call, switch apps — reopen and you are on the right step with the right time. If Android kills the app mid-brew, CAFESSIO picks it back up where it left off.

CUMULATIVE TARGETS, NOT MENTAL ARITHMETIC

Every pour shows both the amount to add and the running total your scale should show. No adding up mid-pour with wet hands.

SCALING THAT ACTUALLY ADDS UP

Scale any recipe by dose, water, ratio, cup size or number of servings. The pours always total exactly the water you chose — no rounding drift.

18 BREWING METHODS

Hario V60, Chemex, AeroPress, French Press, Espresso, Moka Pot, Kalita Wave, Origami, Hario Switch, Clever Dripper, Cold Brew, Japanese Iced, Siphon, Turkish, Vietnamese Phin, Melitta, Batch Brew and your own custom methods.

HANDS-FREE WHILE YOU POUR

Spoken step guidance, a home-screen widget that keeps counting while your phone sleeps, and optional Bluetooth scale support that reads the weight so you never look away from the kettle.

SHARE A RECIPE WITH A QR CODE

Show the code, they scan it, they have the recipe. Nothing is uploaded anywhere — there is no server to upload it to.

BUILD YOUR OWN RECIPES

A visual editor with reorderable steps, per-step water and timing, and live validation that catches water totals that don't add up before you save.

KEEP TRACK

Log every brew with rating and tasting notes. Track your beans — roaster, origin, roast date, freshness and how much is left. Record the grind setting that actually worked, per brewer, on your own grinder.

DIAL IN, PROPERLY

Run a dial-in session that changes one variable at a time and shows you what the taste did. Log espresso shots with dose, yield and time. A transparent, rule-based coach suggests one change at a time and tells you why — and stays quiet when it has nothing solid to say.

17 CALCULATORS

Ratio, dose, beverage, espresso ratio and yield, extraction yield, TDS, 4:6, Japanese iced, cold brew, dilution, bypass, brew water, temperature, weight, grind reference and a caffeine estimate.

WORKS OFFLINE, ALWAYS

CAFESSIO has no internet permission at all. Not restricted — absent. Your recipes, beans and journal live on your device and go nowhere unless you export them. No account, no sign-in, no tracking, no ads.

FIVE LANGUAGES · LIGHT AND DARK · ACCESSIBLE

English, Spanish, Italian, French and Portuguese. Reduced motion, reduced transparency, high contrast and dynamic text are all supported. The timer stays readable without colour, sound or animation.
