🧠 How to Play Spades with a Trump Suit?

It is played with 4 players.

A classic 52-card deck is used, and each player is dealt 13 cards.

The spade suit (♠) is always the trump suit in this game.

Each player guesses (bids) how many tricks they can win at the beginning of the round and records this on the scoreboard.

Objective: Win as many tricks as you say.

🃎 Game Rules

The first player starts with any card they want if there are no cards on the suit.

If there are cards on the suit, they must play a card of the same suit.

If there are no cards on the suit, a trump suit (spade) may be played.

If there are no trumps, any card may be discarded.

The highest card or the one who played a trump suit wins the hand.

💥 Scoring System

The player who wins the same number of tricks or more than their promised number of tricks:

→ 10 x the number of tricks they predicted + (the number of extra tricks they won) scores points.

The player who doesn't reach their promised number of tricks:

→ Loses -10 points x the number of tricks they predicted.

The player who says "Don't take a trick":

→ Gets +50 points if they don't take any tricks, and -50 points if they do.

"Going bust" refers to the situation where the player fails to reach the number they stated at the beginning of the trick.
