AI Story Time

Better Chinese, the creator for AI Story Time, has been a leader in Chinese education, pioneering better ways of learning Chinese since 1998. We have developed curricula that have been adopted by 10 US states and used by over 1,500 K-16 schools, including Los Angeles Unified, San Francisco Unified, Stanford, Brown University, and the list goes on.

Through our 20 years of school experience, we’ve learned that it’s important to develop LOVE for the language. It has something that they want to do, naturally. Teachers in schools have served as catalyst for fostering the love of the language. But how do we do that after schools, especially for young learners who are just starting?

We have always been a big proponent of learning a language through stories. And over the years, we have created over 1,400 stories for Chinese learners.

AI Story Time helps develop LOVE for the language through stories.

- Choose the story they love and watch it

- AI tutor reads the story in Chinese and explains its meaning in English (other languages coming) and practice read aloud with immediate feedback

We created a story universe where kids can watch and read the animated stories that excite them. AND, they can do short quizzes to re-enforce what they just read. After that, they can follow the AI tutor’s reading to practice speaking. The AI will give feedback about what they read. And, they can try as many times as they like to practice pronunciation and delivery.

You can also go to every story that your child has read to hear their own reading voices. What a great way to keep a record of what they can do, right?!
