The appearance of the plane is dark and decadent. It consists of a gigantic greenish sea with numerous giant tentacles that emerge from the most unexpected places. On the surface of the green sea, small islands sometimes form with giant structures made up of countless books and a stone-like material that constantly changes shape and size, making the place a gloomy and chilling place. Even so, stalkers and seekers live on this plane, creatures that will attack the player as soon as they see them.

Apocrypha's sky is also a greenish color, with a huge whirlpool in the center (similar to the one seen in Reminder of Souls) with several of the enormous tentacles emerging from it. It is rumored that Hermaeus Mora himself uses this great portal to communicate with mortals on the surface and draw them to his realm.
