WhatsWrong: Car Diagnostics

This app is designed for car troubleshooting and diagnostics. Here, you can find out why something in your vehicle isn't working and how to fix it.

Diagnose by Symptoms

In this section, you can answer simple questions, select the symptoms your car is experiencing, and get possible causes along with illustrated guides on how to fix them. Many issues can be resolved on your own. Our detailed descriptions and step-by-step visual guides will walk you through the necessary repair operations. The questions here are extremely straightforward—for example, "Which part of the car is the sound coming from?" or "What kind of smell do you notice?". Once you answer them, you will receive a list of possible causes with images.

Dashboard Warning Lights

Warning lights often pop up on your dashboard, leaving you confused about what they mean. The app features a massive collection of these icons with detailed explanations. We cover everything from the basics, like "Low Washer Fluid," to more obscure warnings, such as "Tow Hitch Not Fully Engaged." You will find descriptions for icons of all colors: yellow, red, green, and white. For every dashboard light, you can easily read exactly what it means and which car system it relates to.

Live Chat with an Expert Mechanic

While diagnosing by symptoms or warning lights is incredibly helpful, sometimes you just need to ask someone who thoroughly understands car mechanics and component repairs. That's why we offer a live chat with an expert mechanic. You can ask any question related to car repair or maintenance. If an auto shop tells you a part needs replacing but you have your doubts and want a second opinion, just message our expert. We can review repair estimates for you or diagnose issues based on photos and videos of your car acting up. You can attach images, videos, or service documents directly in the chat to help us understand the problem faster.

If something is wrong with your car or you have doubts about a repair or maintenance service, we would love for you to try our app!
