Longview is a private weight tracker for people who would rather know which way things are heading than react to every morning on the scale.
Your weight moves from one day to the next with water, food and timing. Longview draws a smoothed trend through your weigh-ins so the direction is easy to read, and keeps the raw readings faintly underneath so nothing is hidden.
Take the long view
• A trend line built on a 7-day, time-weighted moving average. It is weighted by the days that actually passed, so a reading after a three-week break counts for more than one taken the next morning.
• The chart is spaced by date, not by entry, so irregular weighing still gives an honest slope.
• 1M, 3M, 6M, 1Y and All ranges. A range appears once your history is long enough to fill it, and three months is the default when you have it.
• Low, high and change for whichever range you are looking at.
• 7-day and 30-day change on your latest weigh-in, rather than a jumpy comparison with yesterday.
Weigh-ins without fuss
• Log in seconds on a swipeable scale that moves in 0.1 steps.
• Add a day you missed, correct an entry or remove one.
• Metric (kg and cm) or imperial (lb, ft and in). Switching converts your saved history.
• An optional daily reminder at a time you choose. It is scheduled on your device, and tapping it takes you straight to today's weigh-in.
BMI, with context
• Your BMI from your latest weigh-in and your height, placed on a colour-banded scale, with a faint marker showing where you were 30 days ago.
• The weight range that matches a BMI of 18.5 to below 25 at your height, and how far your latest weigh-in sits from it.
• BMI is a screening measure, not a diagnosis. It can't tell muscle from fat and isn't intended for under-18s or during pregnancy, and the BMI page says so. Talk to a health professional about what your numbers mean for you.
Private by design
• No account and no sign-up. Open the app and start.
• Your weigh-ins, height and settings are saved locally. Longview has no server or sync and never sends your entries to us. Your operating system may include local app data in device backups.
• Longview doesn't pass your weigh-ins, height or BMI to anyone, the ad network included.
About the ads
Longview is supported by ads from Google AdMob, shown as a clearly labelled sponsored card on the home screen. Where required, you'll be asked for ad consent when you first open the app. Declining does not limit any app feature. Ads may be limited or unavailable depending on your consent choices.
Calm on purpose
No streaks, no badges, no calorie counting and no goal to chase. Just a quiet, dark interface, your numbers and the line through them.
Step on the scale, log it, and let the trend do the talking. Take the long view.

Longview has a fresh design, a smoothed weight trend, date-based charts and BMI context. Log, edit and backdate weigh-ins in kg or lb, with optional daily reminders. This update improves date handling, weight entry and notification permission handling. No account required; your entries are stored locally. Native ad video sizing is corrected, and the Add weight action stays clear of ad controls.
