The Adventures of Super Ted

The adventures of Super Ted is an educational game designed to teach children basic financial terms and skills. It is directed at children above 7 years old and anyone who wish to experience the unpredictable world of money and finance.

The game is designed like a board game, where the player has to roll two dices in order to move along a board. The goal of the game is to be the first player who collects 100 points of money or 100 points of happiness. All players start with 10 points of each category at the beginning of the game. The player can choose his/her own currency and it can be different from the other players. The game involves a great level of chance but sound strategy can also influence the end result and make you the winner.

The player has to follow the instructions of every board's field he lands to. These might be a special card (Friends & Family, Education & Career, Leisure & Hobbies), an artefact or an institution. When a player lands on a card field, points are automatically deducted or allocated to his point balance (money and happiness) depending on the card. An artefact is when a player is presented with a piece of information and he or she should indicate whether the information is correct or not. Every correct answer brings you points while every wrong takes points from your balance. When a player lands on an institution field, he or she is asked to make a financial decision. During the game, special macro-economic events take place that might change the balance of points for each player.
