Download the app, plug in a Bluetooth headset, put the phone in your pocket and enjoy the conversion as if the other person spoke your language.
Important: To use speech recognition and translation (without it the app can do nothing) you need to create a Google Cloud Platform and create and get a file to associate the account with the APIs for the payment (even if, activating the free trial, you have $ 300 credit to use in 1 year in Google Cloud Platform) based on the use of the latter.
To create the account and get the file follow the tutorial in the GitHub page of RTranslator: https://github.com/niedev/RTranslator
RTranslator uses the power of Google's translator and speech recognition to bring you the best experience possible, with more than 60 languages and variants supported.
The supported languages (excluding variants) are as follows:
Bangla, Chinese, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hindi, Hungarian, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Khmer, Korean, Nepali, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Sinhala, Slovak, Spanish, Sundanese, Swedish, Thai, Turkish, Ukrainian, Vietnamese
Bugs found:
- For some languages the TTS does not work, reinstall the speech synthesis engine to resolve.
