Root Checker Pro: Free is a tiny tool which lets you quickly and easily check whether your device has root access. In my root checker app, you'd be notified of a root access by the use of tick/cross images.

What do you mean by Rooting/Root Access?

Rooting is the process of allowing users of smartphones, tablets and other devices running the Android mobile operating system to attain privileged control (known as root access) over various Android subsystems. As Android uses the Linux kernel, rooting an Android device gives similar access to administrative (superuser) permissions as on Linux or any other Unix-like operating system.Your device will have enhanced privileges allowing it to run a lot more apps. In other words, your device can run sudo command.
