Riksdagsinsyn is an independent, unofficial app. It does not represent, and is not affiliated with or sponsored by, the Swedish Parliament, the Election Authority, Statistics Sweden, the Government Offices or any other authority. The app does not provide any government services. It displays public information and each data type has its own official source, listed below under Sources.

Riksdagsinsyn gives you insight into what is happening in the Swedish Parliament: lightning fast, clear and on your terms. Discover documents, watch debates, follow speeches and understand decisions without hassle. Search in seconds and filter by type, party and date range.

Ahead of the election: opinion polls, election compass and compare parties

Follow the latest opinion polls with interactive charts. Each poll shows the institute and date. Swipe through 30 political statements in the Election Compass and get a personal match with the parliamentary parties. Compare the parties' positions in 10 policy areas such as climate, healthcare, education, defense and immigration. The source of each position is stated in the app.

Ask questions, get answers with sources

All users get 5 free questions. Ask about documents, members, debates or decisions. The app searches the Riksdag's open data, compiles and answers with source references directly in the answer. The answers are generated automatically and may contain errors. Always verify against the linked original source.

Summaries and translations

Long texts are distilled into short summaries. Translate documents and speeches into English. Summaries and translations are generated automatically and may contain errors. Requires Premium. You can still read or listen to the entire original text for free. The app is available in eight languages.

Widgets

Two widgets keep you up to date without opening the app:

• Opinion poll: latest poll with all eight parliamentary parties sorted by support and party logos. In a larger size, the block mode Red-Green vs. Blue-Yellow is also shown as a bar.

• Calendar: today's debates, votes and meetings in the Riksdag, directly on the home screen.

Smart push notifications and favorite members

Follow politicians and parties you care about and get notified as soon as new speeches or documents are published.

Sources

Riksdagsinsyn uses several public sources. Each data type is retrieved from its own official source:

• Riksdag data (documents, members, speeches, votes, debates, calendar and web TV): The Swedish Parliament, https://www.riksdagen.se, via the Riksdag's open data, https://data.riksdagen.se.

• Election results: Valmyndigheten, https://www.val.se.

• Opinion polls: the app does not create its own polls, but displays polls that have already been published. Each poll is listed in the app with the institute and date. Polls from the Swedish Central Statistical Office (SCB), https://www.scb.se, are also displayed.

• Party comparisons and Election Compass: each party's position is based on the party's own published material as well as on public documents such as parliamentary motions, https://data.riksdagen.se, and government documents from the Government Offices, https://www.regeringen.se. The source of each position is listed in the app with a link to the original.

• Summaries, answers and translations: are automatically generated from the above sources and may contain errors.

We do not collect unnecessary personal data and you can report errors or contact support directly in the app.
