this app needs root access

might not work for devices with 4.2 or older OS,

but you still might be able to use it to shut down or normally reboot your device.

normal reboot "restart device", shut down, start bootloader or recovery. .

the first two are self explanatory, and you are safe to use those two options.

there is plenty of information online for bootloader and recovery. which have many uses.
