PocketOBS: OBS Remote Control

Stop walking back to your PC to hit record. PocketOBS turns your Android phone into a remote control for OBS Studio over your own WiFi network — no cloud, no account, no typing long WebSocket passwords.

Connect in seconds

Scan the QR code from OBS's own "Show Connect Info" dialog and PocketOBS fills in the host, port, and password for you. No fumbling with a tiny on-screen keyboard.

Control what matters

- Start, pause, and stop recording

- Start and stop streaming

- Switch between OBS scenes with one tap

- Mute and unmute your microphone

- "Clip that!" — save the last few seconds from your replay buffer instantly

- Watch live health stats: CPU load, dropped frames, free disk space

Only the controls you use

Turn off any section you do not need from Settings so the screen stays focused on your workflow.

Works over your local network

PocketOBS talks to OBS's built-in WebSocket server (OBS 28+, Tools -> WebSocket Server Settings) directly over your WiFi. Your stream key, recordings, and OBS setup never leave your network.

PocketOBS is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the OBS Project.
