Pangea is a media player for people who care how their videos look and sound. It plays the videos and music already on your phone, tablet or Android TV, opens the stream links you add, and then lets you tune exactly how everything plays.

YOUR LIBRARY, THE WAY YOU LOOK FOR IT

As a media player, Pangea reads the videos and audio on your device and lays them out by folder, album, artist or by what you watched last. Every video remembers its position, so a half-finished film continues with one tap and shows its progress right on the thumbnail. When a video ends, the next one in the folder starts after a short countdown. Favorites, playlists and search keep a big library manageable.

Formats: MP4, MKV, AVI, MOV, WEBM, TS, FLV and more, with hardware-accelerated 4K playback.

GESTURES WITHOUT THE CLUTTER

Hold anywhere for 2x speed and let go to return. Double-tap to skip ten seconds, swipe to seek, pinch to zoom, and swipe the edges for brightness and volume. Tall videos stay upright in full screen, wide ones turn sideways.

SUBTITLES, DONE PROPERLY

Load external SRT, VTT and ASS files or use the tracks inside the video. Shift subtitle timing in 0.1-second steps when they run early or late. Pick the size, the colour and a background box so they stay readable on any scene. Switch audio tracks just as easily.

STREAMS AND PLAYLISTS

Add an M3U playlist or paste a single HLS (.m3u8) or DASH (.mpd) link and it opens straight away. Live streams are marked as live, quality adapts to your connection, and recent links stay one tap away in your history.

A PRIVATE FOLDER THAT IS ACTUALLY PRIVATE

Move videos into a folder locked by PIN or fingerprint. While it is open, screenshots and screen recording are blocked and the app is hidden from the Recents screen. It locks itself the moment you leave. A one-time recovery code means a forgotten PIN never costs you your files.

PHONE, TABLET AND ANDROID TV

The same media player runs on your phone, your tablet and Android TV, with a remote-friendly TV layout and light, dark and system themes. Keep music and video audio playing in the background with notification controls and a mini player, use Picture-in-Picture while you do something else, or cast to a bigger screen.

PRIVACY

No account and no sign-in. Your videos and music are read only so they can be listed and played. They are never uploaded or shared, and your playlists, resume positions and private folder stay on your device.
