## Focusing on non-Oxygen based ROMs ##

OxygenOS support:

Support for later versions of OxygenOS is finally here! I decided to create a separate app for it, which you can find here. Please note that it requires root and the Xposed framework. Users that are running an old version (below 3.5.X) of OxygenOS can still use the app without any problems.

Overview:

This app allows you to manually set the action for each slider position. The currently supported actions are the following:

- Custom sound profiles

- Camera

- Flashlight

- Launch Application

- Total Silence

- Alarms Only

- Priority Only

- Notifications Only [if supported in system settings]

- Vibrate

- Ring

You can also customize the sound profiles listed above by selecting which of the profiles you want media and alarm volume muted in.

Currently known issues are listed here.

- If the app stops working after updating LOS (nightlies), try reinstalling the app.

- A complete changelog has been added in the XDA Thread!

## Explanation on why LOS/AOSP support requires SELinux set to permissive. ##

In Oxygen there's an intent filter which can be used to send out a broadcast whenever the alert slider changes. Unfortunately this filter is not available in CM/AOSP and therefore I had to find another way of detecting these changes.

By setting the SELinux from enforcing to permissive, the app can open a socket for the UEventObserver in order to listen to kernel changes! Many thanks to XDA-user @nkahoang for his library KernelSwitchObserverLib, click here for more information.
