📢 AccessibilityService Disclosure

VidX AppLock uses the Android AccessibilityService API solely to provide its app lock functionality.

Why we use it

To detect when a protected app is opened and immediately show the lock screen.

To overlay the lock screen on top of the detected app to prevent unauthorized access.

What the service can access

Foreground app information (to know which app is currently active).

Limited view content, only to identify when your protected apps are running.

What the service cannot do

❌ We do not read or collect your messages, passwords, or personal data.

❌ We do not perform actions in other apps without your request.

❌ We do not sell, share, or send Accessibility data to any third party.

Data handling

All Accessibility data is processed locally on your device.

No data is stored, transmitted, or uploaded to servers.

User control

The Accessibility permission is optional.

You can turn it on/off anytime in Settings → Accessibility → VidX AppLock.

🚀 How to Use

Open VidX AppLock and select the apps you want to protect.

Tap Enable App Protection and allow AccessibilityService.

Set your PIN/Pattern/Fingerprint – done!

ℹ️ Notes

VidX AppLock requires “Draw over other apps” permission to display the lock screen.

On some devices, you may need to disable battery optimizations for reliable app locking.
