Musical Ideas MIDI Recorder

Musical Ideas MIDI Recorder is an app that records voice or musical instrument and converts it to MIDI notes file.

This is lite version of the app limited to 15 seconds recording.

How to use:

1. Adjust noise threshold slider so it is bigger than background noise and smaller than detected notes volume

2. Press RECORD and sing or play instrument.

3. Press STOP.

4. Press PLAY to hear detected notes.

5. Adjust notes timing using min note length slider.

6. Press SAVE to save MIDI and audio file to your device MUSIC folder.

For better notes detection adjust the seek bars:

- Noise threshold - set it higher than background noise so the noise is not detected as note. When you sing the power (red line) should be higher than this threshold.

- Min note length - by adjusting it you change the detected minimum note length and adjust note timing. If you set it to lower values you will get more short notes. If you set it to higher values you will have shorter notes filtered.
