You never type a command or read a line of real code. You are the handler: the one who reads the map, makes the call and decides what is worth the risk. On the other end of the line is Ghost, a hacker who does exactly what you tell him. Ghost Handler is a hacker puzzle and hacking story game for anyone who loves a good hacker thriller but never wanted to learn syntax.
HOW IT PLAYS
Ghost gets you to the edge of a network; you decide where he goes next. Solve a puzzle, choose a route or pick the right instruction, and Ghost turns it into action while his terminal fills with commands and output. Get it right and the target never notices. Get it wrong and the noise adds up.
Each episode strings together short scenes: a briefing, a live 3D map of the target's network, a puzzle between you and the next room, and decisions whose cost shows up later. It plays like an interactive detective story where the clues are server logs, badge records and encrypted notes.
THE PUZZLES
• Route the network: read the 3D map and find a path past the cameras and alarms.
• Crack the lock: a short code, with a clue about the person who set it.
• Break the cipher: a message shifted letter by letter. Decipher it to open the next door.
• Spot the pattern: numbers that follow a rule.
• Read the scan: open ports, one with the right name on it.
• Search the log: a wall of raw activity hides the one line that matters.
• Match the wires: connect each device to the port that fits.
• Call the timing: a door that opens for a fraction of a second.
• Talk your way in: some doors are a tired man on a phone at midnight.
• Piece it together: scattered intel that only makes sense in the right order.
None of it asks you to remember a command. All of it asks you to think like a codebreaker and a detective at once. Stuck? Ask Ghost for a hint.
THE TRACE
One number watches every choice: the trace, from 0 to 100. Careful moves barely touch it; greedy ones push it up. Hit 100 and Ghost has to pull out: you return to the last safe point and the target is now on alert. Ghost's trust, how hot the trace ran and how often he was caught decide which of three endings you reach: clean, compromised or burned.
THE FIRST CASE: COLD TRAIL
Mara Venn's sister Iris took a night-shift job at a logistics yard. Nine days ago she stopped answering, and the police say adults are allowed to disappear. Mara has found someone who can get inside the company's network: Ghost. By the end of episode one you know something that should not be true: Iris's badge still opens the yard gate every night. This missing-person mystery runs across five episodes, each built for a single sitting.
FREE AND PRO
All five episodes of Cold Trail are free, and no puzzle is locked behind a purchase. Free players start one episode and get one hint per day, and can watch an optional short video ad for another episode, another hint or to cool the trace. The free version also shows an occasional full-screen ad after an episode and banners for our other apps. Cold Trail is currently the only case.
Pro (monthly, yearly or a one-time lifetime purchase) removes the daily episode limit and all ads, gives unlimited hints and lets you cool the trace without watching a video. None of it is needed to finish Cold Trail.
GOOD TO KNOW
• Fiction only: every network, server and command is scripted. The game never scans or touches a real system.
• An internet connection is needed to load episodes and save progress.
• No sign-up needed: you start as a guest.

You are the handler. Ghost does the keyboard.
One case, five episodes: a woman has vanished, and her badge is still swiping at Gate 3 every night. No commands to memorise — you answer Ghost's questions and decide what is worth the risk. Every loud move raises the trace.
