Developed exclusively for Android devices, Mata Nativa Coletor is just one of the solutions that Mata Nativa offers, for carrying out a complete and accurate forest inventory.

Our application is fully compatible with Mata Nativa Web. Using the application during your forest inventory, you will be able to:

- Work offline;

- Define minimum limit and maximum limit for CAP/DAP and Total and Commercial Height values;

- Collect all tree information faster;

- Register new species and plots according to project demand;

- Record the location of the plots using the device's GPS, recording Latitude 1, Latitude 2, Longitude 1 and Longitude 2;

- Take photos of the trees, assigning the type of photo, such as leaf, flower, fruit, trunk, etc.;

- Measure the height of trees with your cell phone camera;

- Record the location of trees (X and Y), in decimal degrees, using the device's GPS;

- Carry out an assessment of simple or stratified casual sampling and verify sample sufficiency;

- Generate the Collector Curve graph or Species/Area curve;

- Synchronize all collected data directly to Mata Nativa Web (on the computer), via the internet.

IMPORTANT:

1- Mata Nativa Coletor is a complement to Mata Nativa Web, and ONLY through Mata Nativa Web it is possible to export inventory data collected by the application.

2- To access Mata Nativa Collector, you must add the same Login / Password created by Mata Nativa Web.

3- To use the device's camera to measure the height of the tree, the device must contain the sensors: Accelerometer and Gyroscope.

4- The minimum configuration to install Mata Nativa Coletor is: Android with version 8 or higher; 2GB or more of RAM memory.

5- If you do not have an active license in Mata Nativa Web, you will only be able to synchronize the Simple Casual Sampling Project, which is already registered by default in Mata Nativa Web.

6- Synchronizing data from a shared project with a second Mata Nativa Web account will only be allowed if this account has an active license.

7- If the project is enabled on the computer to be synchronized with the application, do not disable it before synchronization is carried out by the application. Otherwise, the collected data may be lost.

8- For security, it is possible to generate a Backup of the collected data and transfer it to another device, via the internet or via Bluetooth.

TIPS:

- Before going into the field, prepare the project on the computer, configuring everything that will need to be written down. This way you speed up the collection work.

- Register a volume formula during project configuration on the computer, so that this formula is available in the Mata Nativa Collector to calculate the Sampling statistics.

- Before starting to collect trees, only leave the fields in which you will make notes enabled, disabling anything that is not necessary.
