Mahabharata – Gods & Heroes is an immersive mobile application that brings the great epic Mahabharata to life through a living, scroll-based graphic novel experience.

The story unfolds in continuous motion, where visual art, sound, and narrative rhythm merge into a single immersive flow. Original music and sound design deepen the sense of presence and emotional engagement.

The project is created by a collective of artists, engineers, machine learning specialists, and spiritual teachers, guided by the vision of Swami Avadhuta, the project’s spiritual teacher and ideological inspirer. The visual language is strongly influenced by the artistic vision of Igor Baranko (DC Comics, Les Humanoïdes Associés) and shaped through the shared work and experience of the creative team behind the project.

Set in a world where kings and warriors wield the power of mantras and ancient knowledge, and where individual choices trigger vast chains of karmic consequences, the story moves toward the great war of Kurukshetra. Human destinies, divine forces, and heroic figures are woven into a single narrative about duty, responsibility, and the cost of decisions.

The app includes multiple books, with several episodes available for free in each book.

The story “Amba’s Curse” is fully available — a concise and emotionally intense tale of broken dharma and a vow whose consequences shape the course of events and become one of the causes of the coming war.
