About KITCard Reader

English

Displays the current balance of your KITCard wallet

Reads the KITCard RFID card used at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and displays information such as the wallet's balance, the card number and the card's type (student, employee, or guest). It can also read Campuscard of HS Karlsruhe, the chipcards of PH and DHBW Karlsruhe and HS Pforzheim, and guest cards of Studentenwerk Karlsruhe.

This project is neither associated with nor supported by either Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) or Studentenwerk Karlsruhe.

Please do not report bugs via reviews. Google does not provide a way to follow-up on those.

Please note that newer devices are unlikely to contain the chip needed to read KITCards. In this case you will not be able to install this app. There is nothing we can do in this case because the proprietary encryption of the card needs to happen in a chip from a certain manufacturer (NXP).
