The application maintains a host database containing AE Titles, IP addresses, port numbers, PDU sizes, transfer syntaxes. It is possible to send C-ECHO request to the selected host. In this case the transfer syntax parameter comes from the host database. Another test possibility is sending association request with database independent transfer syntax.
