Bright lights and visual effects that change to the rhythm of the music
Turn your phone into a music-controlled light show with full-screen colors, visual effects, vibration and flashlight flashes synchronized with the beat.
1. Play music on your device using a music player or a third-party service such as Spotify, SoundCloud, Audiomack, TuneIn Radio, or YouTube Music.
2. Then return to Disco Lights and choose a mode.
3. Shake, Sync, and Siren modes can be used without music.
When a beat is detected, the app can change the screen effect, switch colors, activate vibration or blink the flashlight, depending on the selected mode.
Disco Lights can react in two ways:
• Microphone mode analyzes music and sounds around you.
• Player mode reacts to music playing on your phone.
FULL-SCREEN COLOR MODES: DISCO, SMOOTH, FLASH, FLARE
MODES:
DISCO
The entire screen lights up in one solid color. Every detected beat changes it to another selected color. The flashlight can also blink in time with the music.
SMOOTH
Selected colors flow smoothly from one to another. The flashlight can flash on each beat while the screen continues its smooth transitions.
FLASH
Turns the screen into a color strobe. Choose the colors and adjust the effect from slow flashes to very fast changes.
FLARE
The screen lights up on the beat and then smoothly fades out. Colors, fade speed and flashlight response can be adjusted.
RAVE
Choose from several animated party effects:
• Disco Ball - a beat-reactive disco ball
• Lasers - a beat-reactive colorful lasers
• Fireworks - fireworks appear on the screen in time with the music.
• Hyperspace - fly through stars while movement reacts to the sound.
VIBRO
You can enable vibration on the beat.
Visualize music with several audio-reactive effects:
• Spectrum - vertical bars rise and fall with the sound.
• Circular Spectrum - spectrum bars arranged around a circle.
• Waveform - an animated audio waveform.
• Spectrum Flow - a flowing spectrum-style animation.
SHAKE
Move or shake the phone to trigger screen flashes, color changes and the flashlight. When the phone is still, the effect stops.
TILES
The screen is divided into tiles that light up to the rhythm. Choose from 8 different tile animation patterns.
GRADIENT
Create animated gradient effects with several styles:
Classic Sweep, Radial, Linear, Aurora Pulse, Prism Waves, Radial Bloom and Gobo.
SYNC
Select a color pattern, transition style, speed and flashlight option, then press Start on several phones at the same time. The devices will change colors and flash together.
SIREN and MEGAPHONE
Use built-in siren sounds and matching screen effects, including police-style lights, alarm, biohazard alert and fire effects.
FAST COLOR SELECTION: Swipe across the palette to quickly select several colors or remove them from the selection.
GENERAL OPTIONS:
Choose how the app reacts:
• Automatic - automatically selects the microphone or phone player.
• Microphone - always reacts to surrounding sound.
• Player / Headphones - uses music playing on the phone without the microphone.
• Always On - effects keep running continuously without sound detection.
PREMIUM:
Watch a rewarded video to unlock Premium for 24 hours. Each additional video adds another 24 hours.
