D-Day Run: Countdown Widget

D-Day Run is a countdown app for the days that matter: exams, trips, birthdays, anniversaries and deadlines. A little pixel cat or dog runs toward your D-day flag, and the closer the day gets, the faster it runs.

■ A friend that runs as time runs out

More than a month away, your friend naps at the starting line. Two weeks out it dozes and yawns; a week out it sits and wags its tail. Inside three days it starts to stroll, then trots, jogs and dashes; in the final hour it sprints, and in the last ten minutes it goes all out. When the moment arrives, it jumps for joy at the flag.

■ Home screen countdown widget

See your next D-day, the running lane and the D-days after it at a glance. Inside the last 24 hours the hours, minutes and seconds tick down live. The widget friend only runs for a few seconds when you turn on the screen or tap the lane, then rests, so it is easy on your battery. A small 2×2 size is available too.

■ One page, no menus

Opening the app shows the widget made big. Add a new D-day right in the bottom row, tap a row to bring it to the top, and change alerts, repeats, edits or deletes right under the big number.

■ Reminders and repeats

Get notified on time, 10 minutes, 1 hour or 1 day before. Repeat a D-day every day, on weekdays or on the same day each week.

■ Cat and dog friends

Pick from cats like Cheese, Tabby and Tuxedo or dogs like Pom, Shiba and Corgi. The first friend you pick stays free.

■ Desk clock and true black theme

Turn your phone sideways for a big desk clock of the time left. Dark mode is true black, gentle on your eyes at night.

■ Made for

Anyone counting the days until an exam, a trip, a birthday or an anniversary, or checking deadlines and appointments right on the home screen.

■ Optional Pro subscription

Every feature works without a subscription. Without Pro you may see a banner at the bottom and an ad when opening the desk clock. Pro removes ads and lets you run with every friend.

App languages: English and Korean. Your D-days are stored on your device. Google AdMob (ads) and RevenueCat (subscriptions) may process some information. See the privacy policy for details.
