CieID is the app developed by Poligrafico and Zecca of the Italian State for access, through the Electronic Identity Card (CIE 3.0) to the services of the PP.AA. and the services provided by the member states of the European Union pursuant to the EU regulation 910/2014 eIDAS.

The application is available for smartphones with Android 6.0 and later operating systems, equipped with an NFC interface.

Start the App for the first time and register your Electronic Identity Card by entering the eight-digit PIN by bringing the Card close to the mobile device when prompted.

The PIN is issued for the first half by the Municipality on the occasion of the request for the release of the CIE and for the second at the delivery of the same.

Once the operation is completed, by accessing the service of interest on your device via the Chrome browser you can easily authenticate yourself using your electronic ID card.

In fact, by selecting on the site of the service to which you want to access "Log in with CIE", the CieID App will automatically open and ask you to enter the second part of the PIN and place the card on the mobile device.

Once the authentication operation to the desired service is complete, you can take advantage of the available features.
