This app is designed to help Technicians in the field to quickly check the Battery Capacity requirements for an existing Fire and Emergency evacuation system, while performing the annual system tests.
I have worked in the fire industry for 30 years here in Australia, as a technician I like anything that helps getting the job done.
Just tap on the screen then input the systems current readings then tap the button for either a Fire Panel or the EWIS button if the Fire Panel has a Tone Gen attached, or the EWIS button for a dedicated Evac system.
The app uses the formula from the NFPA72 2016 standard, section 10.6.7.2. The requirements are 24 Hr standby with no AC power then 5 minutes for the FIP or 15 minutes for the sound system.
Please note I don't work there in the USA so this app maybe totally useless, if I'm working in the right direction let me know thanks or any idea's on how it can be improved would help. If it's totally off the mark I will remove it from the play store.

This update allows the operator to set the Safety Factor or Age Factor as a percentage eg 20% or 25% by inputting 20 or 25. The equation will take any whole number.
I made this change after reading on the NFPA forum that some people use a 1.25 safety factor which they believe is more correct than 1.2 as stated in the code. I think this change should appease everybody.
The app now shows results for 2hr, 1hr, 30min, 15min & 5min full load requirements.
Minor change to Phone Icon.
