Caed Matemática

The Caed Mathematics application is a tool for administering math fluency tests to students in the school networks partnered with the Center for Public Policy and Education Evaluation at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (CAEd/UFJF). This device is therefore intended for professionals responsible for administering the tests and is not intended for direct use by students.

Among the application's features are access to the list of expected students, a pre-test recording, and the recording of students' answers. All of this is done offline, considering the diverse infrastructure of public education systems in Brazil. Here, internet access is only required for audio synchronization.

Thus, CAEd/UFJF advances in its trajectory of guaranteeing the right to learning for students in public schools throughout the country.

Considering the diversity of public education systems in Brazil, the application was developed to meet the most varied contexts, especially regarding infrastructure issues. For example, assessments can be administered offline, so internet access is only required during registration and data transfer.

The CAEd/UFJF initiative aims to guarantee the right to learning for students in public schools throughout the country. The use of large-scale assessment results is essential to ensure this right, as it allows administrators and teachers to develop evidence-based actions, that is, based on the difficulties and potential of students at each stage of education.
