Search among thousands of biographies from your mobile device.
The biographies are arranged alphabetically by the first surname of the character. Thus, for example, Barack Obama is in Obama's O, not B's Barack.
Both for the indexes and for the search engine, keep in mind that there may be fluctuations due to the tendency to Spanish or conservation of names (Adolf or Adolfo Hitler) and to the hesitations when transcribing non-Latin alphabet spellings (for example , Arabic, Chinese or Russian surnames).
Some figures are better known by their literary pseudonym or their artistic name than by their real name; other writers or artists used fictitious names, but did not popularize them. In general, we use the most common option in the indices: Marilyn Monroe (her real name was Norma Jean Baker) or Pablo Neruda (pseudonym of Neftalí Ricardo Reyes).
The same rule we follow for the nicknames and nicknames: they are used to designate the character only when he is better known by his nickname than by his real name. This is the case of El Empecinado or La Argentinita. In general, such nicknames are usually associated with a name that determines the position: La Bella Otero (in the O of Otero) or Alfonso X the Wise (in the A of Alfonso).
