What's BidClock?
Traditionally, an auction or bidding is a system wherein an auctioneer or a seller posts a product, service, real estate property, car or any item of value and then prospective buyers raise their paddles to place bids on that item. Once the product is posted, a competitive bidding process takes place until the bidding time elapses. The buyer who bids the highest when the bidding time ends, takes home the item. BidClock is just another auction platform except that it takes place over the internet. BidClock is like a giant online flea market where sellers and buyers meet virtually to sell and buy goods via a web-based platform. Typically, prices in online auctions are vastly lower as compared to prices of products in online stores.

Is Online Auction Legal?
In an auction, may it be virtual or face-to-face, call for bids act as an invitation to offer. The bids made by the person at the auction act as offer and it is at the auctioneer's discretion to accept or reject the offer. The freedom of buyers and sellers to accept or deny offers and invitations play a vital role in the validity of a person-to-person contract. Since all the elements of a valid contract are present, online auctions are legal contracts.
