Logging an at-bat takes nothing more than a tap on the field.
When the game is over, one spray chart shows you where you hit the ball most and which directions turned into hits. No digging through scorebooks, no trying to remember what happened after the game.
■ Log by tapping the field
Tap the spot where the ball landed on the field diagram, pick the batted ball type (ground ball, fly ball or line drive) and the result, and you're done. One hand, a few seconds. Results with no ball in play, like strikeouts, walks and hit by pitches, skip the location step.
■ 13 plate appearance results
Single, double, triple, home run, ground out, fly out, strikeout, double play (GIDP), sacrifice fly, sacrifice bunt, walk, hit by pitch and reached on error. Choosing a result fills in the batted ball type automatically, and you can change it if you need to.
■ Your batted balls on a spray chart
See every ball you put in play, for the whole season or a single game, plotted on the field. Singles, doubles, triples, home runs, outs and errors are color coded, and you can view the path of each ball from home plate to where it landed. Filters let you show only ground balls, fly balls or line drives.
■ Hit distribution and batting average by zone
The field is split into left, center and right, and infield and outfield, with the share of batted balls and your batting average for each zone. Once the numbers show which direction produces the most hits, it's clear what to look for in your next at-bat.
■ AVG, OBP, SLG and OPS
Batting average (AVG), on-base percentage (OBP), slugging percentage (SLG) and OPS are calculated with the official formulas. Walks, hit by pitches and sacrifices are excluded from at-bats, and walks and hit by pitches count toward on-base percentage. Cumulative totals such as plate appearances, at-bats, hits, extra-base hits, home runs, walks and strikeouts are all gathered on one screen.
■ Game-by-game trend graph
A line graph shows how your cumulative batting average has moved from game to game. Choose the stat you want to follow among AVG, OBP, SLG and OPS, and see your batted ball type breakdown and hitting streak in games alongside it.
■ Organized by game
Create a game with a date, opponent and notes, then add your at-bats to it. Each game gets a summary of plate appearances, at-bats, hits and batting average, and you can open any past game at any time to edit or delete it.
■ At-bat history
Every at-bat, grouped by game. Filter by game, by period (last 7 days, last 30 days, this year) or by result type (hits, outs, on base, other), and tap any entry to edit it right away.
■ Logging reminder
Once a day, at a time you choose, the app reminds you to log today's at-bats. You can change the time or turn the reminder off if you don't need it.
