authenticode

Authenticode allows users in regions with low/no data connectivity to verify authenticity of a product. Authenticode uses encrypted code with GS1 and/or other data which when detected as authentic (original) is converted to readable format.

No credential / login access is required to use this app. This app is meant to be usable in offline mode and hence internet access is not mandatory for its usage.

The encryption technology is proprietary to NOOS Technologies and hence only NOOS and its partner encrypted codes can only be decrypted. We expect the implementing product brand and/or partners to communicate the usage of the app. Instruction/training will also be provided directly. Common usage instructions may be available on app itself.

Tapping the "Scan 2D Barcode" allows reading the data in the scanned 2D Barcode (like QR Code). The app then attempts to decrypt the data read from QR Code. In case the data is decrypted successfully, it will show the information along with a green-tick marked image (or image with similar intent) to the user. In case the decryption failed, the scanner will show a red-cross image (or image with similar intent) to the user along with non-decrypted information.On scanning a regular qrcode (with any data), the QR Code data will be shown along with red-cross indicating failure to decrypt.
