Zambian Penal Code

Penal Code is "A compiled list that describes and defines all of the offenses, as well as the law which can be applied and the punishments that can be given. "

The Penal Code of Zambia consists of all the laws dealing with various crimes and/or offenses and their legal penalties.

"The general purpose of the code is the establishment of prohibitions, penalties, and correctional measures to deal with conduct that unjustifiably and inexcusably causes or threatens harm to those individuals or public interest for which they state protection is appropriate."
