Looking for something different? Vrakys is being crafted on a custom engine with two major focuses. A turn based battle system which revolves around drawing symbols (ingress-hacking inspired) and a communication based exploration system (type commands to interact with the environment). The Japanese educational component is still in beta but you can learn some basics through interaction with NPCs and the battle system.

Visit Vrakys and experience another world through exploration, with no knowledge of what is to come. Interact with the world to learn it's capabilities.

This is working demo with more content being added over time, I'm looking for players that are willing to be pioneers in something different and will give feedback on how it plays.

Subscriptions (will be cheap, to cover server costs) are free while in demo/testing (limited server capabilties) and other IAP (unneeded, purpose is to cut grind time/make life easier) codes will be given out as requested. The free tier of the server I am on is limited to 100 users at a time and I have just over 400 more downloads available.

The turn-based battles will test your strategic prowess. This unique battle system revolves around drawing kanji and/or kana accurately and swiftly to unleash devastating attacks on your foes. Master the art of symbol-crafting to achieve maximum damage and dominate your opponents!

Learn some Japanese by repetition, say こんにちは : konnichiwa : hello every day for some bonus xp and you're sure to pick that one up in no time! The symbol-craft training mini-games will assist you in learning the abilities kanji, how to count to 99, the weekdays or simply to learn the kana. Learn some combo words like ありがとう and equip these abilities to give you some extra oomph in battle, if you successfully spell out the word.

Join forces with trusted companions and get help, or receive it, in battles against formidable enemies. Combine your strengths and tactics, unleashing devastating attacks and supporting each other in the heat of battle. Take it a step further and engage in thrilling two-on-two battles, testing your teamwork and strategy against other dynamic duos!

Or if you prefer, brave the challenges alone and conquer the world solo, relying on your own skills and strategy.

Throughout your journey, you'll encounter intricate puzzles that require you to push yourself in the art of symbol-crafting. These challenges not only test your skill but also serve as gateways to progress through the main quests.
