The University Attendance App provides a secure and intelligent way to verify student attendance inside the university campus.

The app uses a two-step verification process designed to ensure that only real students physically present in the correct venue can register their attendance.

1. Face Liveness Detection

The app first performs a face liveness check to verify that the student is a real person, not a photo or video.

2. Bluetooth Beacon Detection

After successful face verification, the app automatically scans for a Bluetooth beacon associated with the venue. Each classroom or hall has a unique beacon device that identifies its location. When the app detects the correct beacon signal, it confirms that the student is physically present in that venue.

Once both checks are completed successfully, the student’s attendance is recorded automatically in real time.

How It Works:

The student opens the app and begins the attendance check.

This system eliminates manual attendance errors and prevents false check-ins. It ensures that every attendance record reflects genuine, in-person presence.

Privacy and Security:

The app only processes face and location data for attendance verification purposes. No personal or biometric data is shared with third parties. All data is handled securely within the university’s system and complies with institutional privacy policies.
