The 31st MLC will equip participants with innovative ideas, strategies and tools to lead with great vision and creativity to transform hospice and palliative care for the future.
MLC 2016 participants will be provided opportunities to realize these conference objectives:
Spark creative ideas to spur leaders to action within their organizations, communities and region;
Design innovative strategies to lead through and despite changing hospice and palliative care landscape;
Create organizational systems and processes to adapt to changing circumstances;
Discuss approaches to creative leadership and employee engagement in hospice and palliative care organizations;
Provide tools to ensure the provision of quality, evidence-based, ethical, effective and efficient end-of-life care;
Discuss adaptive strategies to respond to changes in the regulatory, health policy and healthcare landscapes;
Analyze innovative approaches to improve access to hospice and palliative care by under-served and marginalized populations;
Highlight exceptional quality assessment and performance improvement practices.
