Project Intent

To select and support the accomplished Korean artists

who hope to enter the U.S. market.

Project Content

To support the artists to

create comics content that can appeal to the U.S. market.

To sponsor them to produce 50-page manuscript that can demonstrate the artist’s story-telling ability and artwork.

To translate the 50-page manuscript into English and produce a booklet to distribute to experts in the American cartoon industry.

Projet global d’un atelier de création des BD – Promotion dans la région européenne

Objet

Ce projet a pour but de sélectionner des auteurs de BD coréens désieux de se lancer sur le marché européen et de les soutenir dans leur parcours.

Contenu du projet

Soutenir le travail des auteurs pour qu’ils puissent créer des contenus de BD visant le marché européen et réunir 50 pages de leur travail illustrant leur talent sur le plan du contenu et du dessin.

Traduire en français ces 50 pages pour la fabrication d’un recueil qui servira à la promotion auprès des responsables du marché des BD européen

日本漫画市場を目標とした漫画コンテンツ創作のため作家の原稿開発を支援すると共に、作家の企画力及び作画力をお見せできる50ページ分量の原稿を日本語に翻訳し日本漫画出版関係者に広報できるように作品集製作

Korea Manhwa Contents Agency (KOMACON), formerly the Bucheon Cartoon Information Center that was established in 1998, is a comics promotion agency sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism and the government of Gyeonggi Province since 2009.
