TslaMirror brings your Android screen and audio to a compatible car browser or desktop browser over a local network.
TslaMirror is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any third-party automotive company.
THREE CASTING MODES
• Classic Mirroring: share your phone screen with the browser.
• Single-app Casting: run a supported app on a separate display while continuing to use your phone. Setup and app compatibility vary by Android device.
• Android Auto Casting: display the phone’s Android Auto interface in a compatible browser. Follow the setup guide in the app.
VIDEO AND AUDIO
Choose MJPEG, H.264 or H.265 and adjust resolution, frame rate and quality to suit your phone, browser and connection. Codec support and playback performance vary by device.
Audio capture is available on Android 10 and later for apps that allow it. Supported devices can stream lossless audio at up to 96 kHz, stereo, 32-bit. Some apps restrict audio capture or use protected content. DRM-protected content may show a black screen, have no audio, or be unavailable for casting.
GETTING STARTED
1. Park the vehicle before use.
2. Turn on your Android phone’s Wi-Fi hotspot and connect the device running the browser to it.
3. Open TslaMirror and enable Local Proxy when prompted.
4. Select a casting mode, complete its setup and allow any required system permissions.
5. Open a connection address displayed in the app in the browser.
No receiver app is required in the browser. Compatibility depends on the browser’s network access, video decoding and device capabilities; not every vehicle or browser is supported. Start with the daily free allowance to check your setup.
LOCAL CONNECTION AND PERMISSIONS
The casting server runs on your Android device. The screen and audio stream travels over the local connection between the phone and browser, without a public relay server. Other online apps and vehicle services may still use internet data.
Local Proxy uses Android VpnService to provide the local casting address for browsers that cannot reach ordinary private-network addresses. It does not connect to a public VPN service.
Optional remote control uses AccessibilityService to carry out your touch and system-navigation commands. With your consent, accessibility assistance can also help with hotspot settings, wireless pairing and Android Auto setup. You can manage these options in the app and revoke permission in Android settings. Screen capture still requires Android’s permission.
FREE AND PREMIUM
The app is free to download. The Free plan includes 15 minutes of casting per day, shared across MJPEG, H.264 and H.265.
Premium provides unlimited casting through a monthly auto-renewing subscription or a one-time Lifetime Premium purchase. Eligible new monthly subscribers can receive a 6-day free trial. Unless cancelled before the trial ends, the subscription renews monthly at the price shown by Google Play. Check eligibility, price and terms at checkout. Manage or cancel subscriptions in Google Play.
USE WHILE PARKED
Use the app only when the vehicle is safely parked. Follow local rules and the vehicle’s browser restrictions. Never view or operate distracting content while driving.
